Daryl's Birthday

I went back to the days of being a kid today and attended Daryl' s (Susan's cousin) McDonald's party. Actually Evangeline was the one invited, i just went as a chaperon. However, it was fun looking at the kids play and seeing them laugh and enjoying themselves. There were some kids that were very naughty though, and it made me feel like smacking them. Getting into fights so easily and talking in a 'hey i am an adult' way, but i guess we all went through that stage before. The majority of the kids were boys and there was only this one little girl that was Daryl's friend, and of course Evangeline and Cheryl who could only be the onlookers and not participants; they would surely get injured.

McDonald's party usually ends very quickly, in about 2 hours time? That is suffiient for the kids to play games and cut the cake, but to us adults, i think the 2 hours passes very slowly haha. I cannot imagine myself being a mom next time and having to bring my kids to this kind of party, but when the time comes i know i will surely enjoy seeing my kids have fun. Maybe next time we should have our adult party at McDonalds, something different for a change.

On a side note, my church announced the death of another lady due to cancer. I think its colon cancer as well, the same cancer that Amy had. I wonder what is this world coming to; why is everyone getting cancer? This makes me worried for myself too, because early stages of cancer does not have obvious symptoms. We should all go have a body check soon...Susan when?
