A Pink and Happy Day

I'm back! Hmm, i haven't been really busy, but just not in the mood to blog for the past few days. Not much updates to do, but there is something that i am still waiting for an answer. If everything falls through, i will tell you guys about it, but if it doesn't i can save the explanation i guess. Anyways, today i went Bugis Village to shop with Mel. Its been ages since i went to that place, and its currently under renovation as well so most stores are closed. Nevertheless, i still managed to get quite a few good buys, for as low as $10! That's the good thing about shopping there; able to buy many things for a very low price. I love the feeling of unloading all my 'loots' when i step back home.

And me with my new hairdo too!
After shopping we sat down for a drink (shopping is tiring), and started talking about our future, career and where we hope we can be in the future. But after talking about all these, i started to think of my church friend Amy. If you guys have read my blog before, you would have heard that she has colon cancer, and sad to say, it has escalated to stage 4. She was scheduled to go for an operation to remove the infected part of her liver, but halfway through the operation, it was aborted and they have opted for the quality of her life over the operation that might not be of much use as well. She is now in pain ward and i don't know what is coming up for her. She has two very young children and a husband that loves her a lot, and it will really be a very heart wrenching event if God were to decide to take her away. Those of you that are reading this, please take a minute to just pray for her. I then told Melissa, even if we were jobless now, or have something we are lacking in life, at least we still have a healthy body. And i really thank God for that.
Back to happier things. After the afternoon session with Mel, i went on to meet Deb whom i haven't seen since christmas last year. Its really always a joy to be able to meet up with her, and she is one of those 'even though we don't see each other often we still are comfortable with each other' kind of friend. She is going through a rough patch herself now, but i know she will regain her composure one day. Its not easy to go through what she is going through now as i myself have experienced it before, that's why i understand every single thing that she is going through now. But Deb, if you are reading this now, remember that things will only get better with each passing day. It is not possible with your own strength, but remember, 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me'.

P.S Somehow all of us were in pink today therefore it was a pink and happy day = )
