News reading anyone?

I officially did my news reading on SYN FM today. This is not a commercial radio station where they earn profits but its a community radio station where youths age 18 to 25 i think can volunteer their services at this station. It can be heard on the local radio here in Melbourne and it is really a very good platform for students that wish to fulfill their dream of going on air.

You can choose to do a full radio show after you have gone through their radio training classes, but i prefered to work in the news area. Went for the news reading training session yesterday and i volunteered to start today because i want to clock as many hours as possible for my internship thingey. Well i must say, i loved every bit of it. Despite it being nerve wrecking, it felt really good the moment i got off air. You know the adrenaline rush kind of feeling. I will be on a regular schedule every wed at 5pm to do the news bulletin but i hope to get more slots so i can clock the silly hours i need to.

Will tell you guys more about it once i am used to it, and hopefully i can get some pictures the next time.
