Little experiments with food

After watching some cooking programs, i decided to try to cook Soy sauce chicken wings. It looked simple on tv and not forgetting delicious as well. After watching that program, i was craving for chicken wings the whole night so i went to the super market on Friday night, marinated the chicken overnight and began on my experiment Saturday afternoon. It didn't take too long to cook it, just simply pan frying the wings, add water, add dark sauce and soya sauce and just leave it there to simmer. This was how it looked like done.

Doesn't look too bad huh?
Well, i was quite happy with the results except it being a little to salty. But, i love eating salty stuff so basically to me it was quite alright. The stupid wings were slippery though, i dropped it on my pants the first time round, so i had to go change out and wash my pants. After changing to shorts, i dropped it again. This time round on my shirt. So i had to change my shirt and wash it too. How clumsy can i get, and stupid Yoke Huey was laughing her ass off. Next time i won't cook chicken wings for you anymore hmph!
For today, me and huey decided to experiment with the Korean Kimchi soup. She was complaining that the fridge had a weird smell; it turned out to be the Kimchi of mine, and there was still quite a bit left. So she suggested that i try cooking it into soup for her and she will finish it all. I was quite sceptical at the start, beacuse i cannot imagine that Kimchi taste in soup but nevertheless i decided to try. Fried some mince pork first, den added in the Kimchi followed by water and i left it there to simmer. After 10 mins, i added in an egg and some glass noodles.
While i was doing all these, Huey was washing the bowls. Look like my maid huh? Haha she is going to complain again.
Cooking the soup
My eyes look kind of swollen here right? It just looks weird, guess i did not sleep enough last night that's why.
Tadah! The final outcome
It turned out pretty good i must say, not like what i thought. Tasty with a tinge of sour taste, not really spicy though. That was our dinner for the night, i am going to cook more of next time. Didn't know Korean food can be done so easily and quickly haha. However, i have to say this is not the traditional Kimchi soup. It is improvised that's why its easy to cook, you can try it too!
