That is our driver Miss PY
Ok, we got a bit lost on our way there cause we had trouble finding the freeway. See how intently she is looking at the map? But losing our way wasn't really a bad thing cause we also got to see more things along the way. Saw cows, horses, beautiful sceneries and stuff but we came across something i find rather cute. That is...
this sheep!
Its not the typical white sheep if you can see here. Its a sheep with black body and white fur haha. I only see this kind of sheeps in storybooks and seeing one in real life is pretty interesting. Ok some people might think i am being silly but it is cute what! After about 1 hr (i think) we finally arrived at our first destination...
Entrance at one of the winery
The landscape there is rather beautiful and the weather makes it even more perfect!
Don't they look like red brocolis? They are actually mini flowers making up a bunch.
After taking some pictures in the open, we proceeded for some free wine tasting in the
Yering Station.
I don't really like wines but through this particular winery, i realised that white wine is actually nicer than red. I guess it depends on individual people's taste buds, i don't like the taste to be too strong, bland ones suit me better.
This was an attempt of me trying to take a group picture of us using the timer mode but look at the dishevelled me? Well, the only thing i can put the camera on was not very near, so i had to on the timer and run back to the spot i am standing at within 10 secs; while the 3 girls just stood there happily getting ready to pose. By the time i got back, the camera just snapped right away thus explaining my look. And for your info, we DIDN'T only attempt to take one picture ; ) Nevertheless, they had their retribution for happily seeing me run back and forth when they got chased by dogs!Haha
A more proper picture of us and the vineyard
We went right to another winery right after this and boy the scenery just gets better and better!
Another pic of us at a different vineyard
The precious few grapes that were there

The nice background scenery
After seeing two wineries, we decided if was time for a tea break! Went to one of the local towns for tea. The pace of life there is really slow compared to Singapore. And what i mean by slow was them being physically slow. The town had more elderly people and everyone was just walking very slowly; maybe they were just enjoying the cool breeze that afternoon? Anyways, I had my mocha at a nice little tea house by the balcony.
Mmmmm.....
Sin and her cuppacino
On our way leaving...
Cafe Beaz
Along the way exploring, we actually stumbled upon a Blueberry Farm. However, its not the harvest season so no blueberries for us to see; but we did manage to try some of their speciality like their blueberry ice-cream, jams, blueberry wine and strawberry nectar. Not really a fan of jams but i still bought one for Daddy. Besides the serivice attitude of the staff there was really good so i didn't mind buying = ) See customer service does make a difference!
A pic with Miss nice lady
Didn't really stay long at the farm because there was nothing much to see. Its just like a cafe in a very desserted place so we moved on to... yes! Another winery! We went to Green Point (i remember this place cause the tour group i went in Sec 4brought us there before)this time and i was pretty excited cause i knew they served champagne. I prefer champagne a lot more to wines and i think their champagnes are the top notch kind. If i remember correctly, its chandon or something, supposedly the same company as Moet. Oh by the way, the drinks we drank are all free, just plain sampling, but of course we bought something.

One of the most beautiful vineyards
Look how big their vineyard is!
Do you know how long it takes to make a bottle of wine? Scroll to the end for answers but try and guess first k.
This was the last winery that we went too, and for our last destination, we went to a dairy farm. They let us sample the cheese they had but some of it tasted pretty disgusting. Its quite rude to spit it out in front of the staff so we just had to swallow it bravely. Not all was gross but the first type we tried gave me a bad impression already. They should let us sample chocolates instead right people? Well in the end, we didn't buy chocolates, chesse or any dairy product but some turkish bread, yum yum.
This was our last stop in the Yarra Valleys and onto dinner. We went to boxhill for some Taiwanese food- it was good. My first time trying Taiwanese style beef noodles, and also my first time at boxhill, guess i will be going there quite often now.
My dinner
And with that i end my entry.
Hope you guys enjoyed!
Oh oh, almost forgot, its takes 3 years for make a bottle of wine = ) Happy Easter!
