Good Friday

Happy Easter once again everyone! Before i begin yet another entry, i just like to thank God for dying on the cross for my sins so that i am saved. My friend just asked me what is the meaning of Easter so i shall just explain it simply. Easter is celebrated because God died on the cross and rose on the third day. Therefore, Easter is celebrated to remember what he has done for us. Understand now Miss Jiesi? Haha.

Woke up at 8.15 in the morning again because i had to go to church for service, super tired, but this special day only happens once a year. If he can die for me why can't i wake up for him right? But this time round i managed to pull Vince to accompany me and after service, we had breakfast together.

Well, he insisted on eating something light cause he had something before coming to church so he just chose plain omelette. Looks damn little right? Ok maybe not, but it does look little compared to my breakfast set = )

I had a craving for American style breakfast, and it has been like don't know how many years since i've eaten breakfast. For those that know me well enough you know what time i usually wake up right, so i am usually in time for late lunch haha. I guess when i start working i will have lots of chances to eat breakfast already.

Can you see the fly?

Halfway through my meal, my dear friend got bored and decided to trap a fly. He said it was going to die anyway if it got caught in that blue color thing that electrocutes flies so why not; besides i think the fly was irritating him. How gross.




Breakfast was really a value for money because i could still pack half of it home! The portion was rather big so i couldn't finish it. Not bad right, still looks pretty good for a take away haha. Oh and i have to say something. While i was eating mint, Vince was cracking some lame jokes and i was laughing and trying to talk at the same time, so i accidentally sucked in the mint and it went up my nasal cavity! I tell you, that was really painful. Furthermore, mint is something hot so that made it worse. The mint was like stuck there and drinking water won't help also cause water won't go up your nasal cavity. All i could do was endure the pain and wait for the damn mint to melt. The only bad thing that happen during a beautiful Good Friday.

After i got home i knocked out immediately, was so tired cause i couldn't fall asleep the night before, but when i woke up, Huey was already halfway through preparing dinner and she was deep frying chicken wings. That really made me feel happier cause i know i am going to have a quite sumptous dinner, and friends were coming over as well.

This was what we had for dinner. The plate of greens was the only thing i helped with, didn't turn out too bad also la. The brown stuff on the right hand table was black pepper beef. She also cooked Ba Kut Teh but i didn't take a picture of that. Doesn't look super duper nice but trust me, the taste was good, i loved the soup.

As you can see, these are the two crazy sisters again haha. The crazier one will be the one in pink actually (sorry sin! I have to spoil your reputation here a bit haha). She dared our dear Yoke Huey to go to a neighbours house to get a number. She thought Huey won't dare but she was terribly wrong! Huey went for the dare (but she didn't pester for the number out of goodwill) and completed it, so Sin who refused to drink at the start had no choice but to drink. Poor thing, but anyway Easter was well spent for me this year. Hope everyone had a good time too = )
